Latest COVID-19 Update

Update 7-9-20:

New Communication Schedule

Moving forward we are changing our COVID website updates to every three weeks. If you have any questions about the ongoing COVID protocols please feel to contact the community and we will be happy to answer your questions.

Once again Trail Ridge would like to thank everyone for their continued support during this difficult time. Through the coordinated efforts of many people and organizations the residents at Trail Ridge are free from COVID-19. We are working towards bringing back some of the amenities for Independent Living residents in the safest manner possible. Full restrictions continue to be in place for Assisted Living residents based on the re-opening guidelines provided by the South Dakota Department of Health.

To maintain a healthy and safe environment we continue to follow CDC recommendations:

– Restricting visitors
– Maintaining social distancing
– Universal masking
– Continuing our enhanced infection control protocols
– Screening staff health status prior to entering the Community
– Monitoring assisted living residents for symptoms of illness
– Engaging residents in individualized activities to meet their social needs
– Expanding use of Personal Protection Equipment (masks, face shield, gowns etc.)

Staying in Contact

We have extended our outdoor campus for family visits and expect active participation in following all the CDC guidelines, such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distance and hand hygiene. Outdoor visits to our Assisted Living residents can be scheduled by calling 605-339-9123.

We invite you to let us know what we can do to ensure you are able to connect with your loved one via Zoom, Facebook, Skypeand of course phone calls. Please contact the community and a staff member will be happy to help you.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call Trail Ridge.
