The 10th annual “Swing FORE Seniors” Trail Ridge Golf Tournament will be held at Prairie Green again on Thursday, August 21st with a shotgun start at noon. Registration and lunch start at 11am. Special thanks to those who have supported, played, or donated over the past 9 years, and we look forward to this year’s even bigger edition.
Jason Honey, Marketing Director and Golf Event Captain, says, “I look forward to this golf tournament every year because of all the fellowship and support we receive from those we work with. Every year new teams show up and the growth of this tournament is incredible. We try to put on a good show and really focus on giving back to the golfers as much as we can. Its pretty rare you go to a fundraising golf tournament and get 2 meals! But, we know golf is a long day and you get hungry out there so we are forever grateful to Firehouse Subs of Sioux Falls for sponsoring our lunch every year.
There is still room for more golfers/teams, but time is running out. Reminder: our golf tournament includes 18 holes of golf (scramble best ball format), cart, 2 drink tickets!, lunch, supper, and swag bag full of golf balls and goodies. This year we have a hole in one prize of $10,000 cash, a “Putt FORE Mission” prize valued at over $400, and thousands of dollars worth of raffle prizes. All proceeds go back to Trail Ridge for campus improvement projects.
